The Water Department provides residents with the advantages of local ownership and operation: low cost and high reliability.  The Village’s water supply is drawn from 10 wells located throughout the community that are drilled to an average depth of 540 feet into the Magothy aquifer. Water is stored in four elevated tanks with a combined capacity of 4 million gallons and is distributed through more than 70 miles of water mains. Water quality is constantly monitored and tested to assure its purity.
