FIRST HALF 2026/27 REAL ESTATE TAXES

First half 2026/27 Village real estate tax bills due June 1, 2026 were mailed out on Friday, May 15th.  First half taxes must be paid by June 30, 2026 to avoid any late payment penalties.

The online tax payment portal at www.rvcny.gov will be open on June 1, 2026 to accept payments by electronic check or credit card. Tax payments may also be paid in person at Village Hall, dropped in the wall slot to the right of the Village Hall entrance at 1 College Place or mailed to P.O. Box 950, Rockville Centre, NY 11571-0950

ONLINE 2025/26 TAX PAYMENTS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE EFFECTIVE APRIL 13, 2026

All payments for 2025/26 Village taxes made on or after April 13, 2026 must be made by bank check, cash or money order only. Cashier hours at Village Hall, One College Place, are 8AM - 3PM Monday through Friday. If payment is not received by April 15, 2026 a Notice of Arrears will be publicly advertised in the Rockville Centre Herald for three consecutive weeks beginning with the April 23, 2026 issue.

NEW PROPERTY OWNERS AND SATISFIED MORTGAGES

New property owners and those who have satisfied, refinanced or sold their mortgage to another lending institution should contact the Tax Office as soon as possible either by email at [email protected] or telephone at (516) 678‑9205 in order to avoid billing errors that may lead to penalties for late real estate tax payments.
