****NOTICE FOR TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13TH****

RVC Village Court will be closed on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 due to weather
RVC Village Court Arraignment Night on February 13, 2024 has been canceled due to weather

You must answer the summons in writing.  If pleading NOT GUILTY, complete section 8 and include your
name, address and phone number - the Court will mail you a conference notice for a future date
to come back and speak with a prosecutor and Judge.

If you are pleading GUILTY, complete section A and include your name, address and phone number.
The Judge will set the fines and we will notify you by mail of the fine and how to pay.

Please note you NOT able to please GUILTY if you have MISDEMEANOR charges -
you MUST please NOT-GUILTY and we will notify you of  a conference date to appear.

Failure to enter a plea in writing will result in the suspension of your driver's license

There is a drop box located at 1 College Place to the right hand side of the front door where
you can place the tickets or you can mail back the ticket.
The office is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00am  to 3:30pm. 
We will be CLOSED on Monday, February 19, 2024 in observance of the President's Day Holiday

If you have received a traffic violation and wish to plead not guilty, please sign Part B. Please put your address and phone number on the ticket. You will be notified of a conference in the future. 

If you have received a traffic violation and wish to plead guilty, please sign Part A. Please put your address and phone number on the ticket.

You will be advised of the fine.

If you have received a parking ticket and wish to plead guilty, you can pay at rvcny.gov.  We do not take payments over the telephone

If you have received a parking ticket and wish to plead not guilty, please sign Not Guilty, put your name and address and phone number.  We will notify you of a conference date.

If you received an appearance ticket and wish to plead guilty, please sign guilty on the back of the ticket with your address and phone number, and you will be advised of the fine.

If you received an appearance ticket and wish to plead not guilty, please sign Not guilty on the back of the ticket with your address and phone number, and send in to the Court.  We will notify you of a conference date.

 

Rockville Centre has one of the busiest village courts in the state, handling more than 30,000 cases annually. The court has jurisdiction over the enforcement of local laws, including parking tickets and zoning code violations, and New York State vehicle and traffic offenses committed within the Village boundaries.
