Notice is hereby given by the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Rockville Centre that SEALED PROPOSALS for:
STREETSCAPE AND PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS AT MAPLE AVENUE

Will be received until 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at the Village of Rockville Centre, Purchasing Department, located at One College Place, Second Floor, Rockville Centre, NY 11570.
A Compact Disc (CD) containing electronic files including the Contract Documents [Construction Drawings, Project Manual with Specifications, Agreement between Owner and Contractor, and the Conditions of the Contract (General, Supplementary and other Conditions)] may be obtained upon the non-refundable payment of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00), check made payable to the VILLAGE OF ROCKVILLE CENTRE, at 1 COLLEGE PLACE, ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NEW YORK 11530 during the hours of 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday Through Friday.
One full set of printed documents that are contained on the Compact Disc are available to bidders for a non-refundable purchase price of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). Non-refundable checks for sets of printed documents are to be made payable to the VILLAGE OF ROCKVILLE CENTRE.
Bid documents may be obtained beginning November 14, 2019.
Bids must be made in the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the Specifications that must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the job and name and address of the bidder on the outside, addressed to: VILLAGE OF ROCKVILLE CENTRE, clearly marked on the outside:

Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Village of Rockville Centre, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract.
Each bidder shall agree to hold his/her bid price for (45) days after the formal bid opening.

It is the intention of the Village to award the contracts to the lowest qualified bidder who can meet the experience, technical and budget requirements. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, is in the best interests of the Village.
