Public Notice to Bidders

Sealed Bids will be received by the Village of Rockville Centre Purchasing Department for the matter stated below.  Bids must be received at the Rockville Centre Police Department, 34 Maple Ave., Rockville Centre, New York 11570 until 11:00 am prevailing time on June 3, 2021. Bids will be opened that day and read aloud in the Village Court Room.  In accordance with Executive Order of the Governor of New York, the bid opening will be recorded, and the recording will be available on the Village website on June 4, 2021.  The contract will be awarded as soon thereafter as practicable for:

CHEMICAL WATER TREATMENT & TESTING FOR THE POWER PLANT

The contract documents, specifications and plans can be examined on the Village’s website at www.rvcny.gov.  Follow the link to the Purchasing Department. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check or bid bond payable to the Incorporated Village of Rockville Centre in the amount of five (5%) percent of the gross amount of the bid.

Potential contractors are required to participate in a site walk through to be completed by May 21, 2021. Please contact Eileen Foglietta at efoglietta@rvcny.us to confirm attendance. Please do not forward bid questions to Eileen Foglietta.

All questions should be directed to the Purchasing Department.  Please contact Debbie Advocate in the Purchasing Department via email only at dadvocate@rvcny.us with any questions you may have. Questions must be received no later than May 24, 2021.

Award of Contract will be made in accordance with applicable provisions of the law.  The Village reserves the right to split awards between multiple bidders, reject all bids, or make such determination as in the best interests of the Village, as provided by law.
