Public Notice to Bidders

 

Sealed Bids will be received by the Village of Rockville Centre Purchasing Department for the matter stated below.  Bids must be received at the Rockville Centre Police Department, 34 Maple Ave., Rockville Centre, New York 11570 until 11:00 am prevailing time on February 4, 2021. Bids will be opened that day and read aloud in the Village Court Room.  In accordance with Executive Order of the Governor of New York, the bid opening will be recorded, and the recording will be available on the Village website on February 5, 2021.  The contract will be awarded as soon thereafter as practicable for:

 

2021 GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITNIN THE VILLAGE OF ROCKVILLE CENTRE

The contract documents, specifications and plans can be examined on the Village’s website at www.rvcny.gov.  Follow the link to the Purchasing Department.

 

All prospective contractors should be available for a mandatory site tour early during the week of January 25, 2021.  Please contact Gwynne Feiner, via email only, at gfeiner@rvcny.us to confirm time, date, and your attendance.

 

All questions should be directed to the Purchasing Department. Please contact Debbie Advocate via email only, at dadvocate@rvcny.us. Questions must be submitted no later than January 28, 2021.

 

Award of Contract will be made in accordance with applicable provisions of the law.  The Village reserves the right to split awards between multiple bidders or reject all bids, or make such determination as in the best interests of the Village, as provided by law.
