Restoration Work on the Donald Browne Pathway along Hempstead Lake is scheduled to begin April 13th - During construction, the pathway and Peninsula Blvd pedestrian bridges will be closed for several weeks

As part of the Village’s ongoing efforts to improve and maintain our parklands, we will soon begin the next phase of planned improvements along Hempstead Lake State Park.

The Village’s contractor is scheduled to begin restoration work on the Donald Browne Pathway along the lake. During construction, the pathway and the Peninsula Boulevard pedestrian bridges will be closed for several weeks to allow the work to be completed safely and efficiently.

Construction is currently scheduled to begin on April 13.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this important project is completed and look forward to reopening the improved pathway for residents to enjoy.
